How we collect, use and protect your personal data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.

This policy is issued in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other regulations governing personal data protection in Colombia.
Case Equipos y Transmisiones S.A.S. processes the personal data you provide for the following main purposes: responding to your inquiries and quote requests, managing the commercial and after-sales relationship, and sending you information about products and services when you have authorized it. We do not request sensitive data and providing it, if it occurs, is optional.

The personal data collected is used to: (a) respond to inquiries and quote requests for spare parts and services; (b) manage the commercial relationship, invoicing and after-sales service; (c) send information about products, services and news, with the prior authorization of the data subject; (d) perform analytics and improve the operation of the website; and (e) comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We collect the data you provide through the contact form (name, email, phone, company, subject and message), the conversations you start via WhatsApp, the cookies described in our Cookie Policy and the site’s own telemetry (pages visited and interaction events). When a contractual relationship exists, we also process the commercial and billing data necessary to perform it.
In accordance with article 8 of Law 1581 of 2012, as the data subject you have the right to: access, update and rectify your personal data; request proof of the authorization granted; be informed about the use given to your data; file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for violations of the law; revoke the authorization and request the deletion of the data when there is no legal or contractual duty preventing it; and access your personal data free of charge.
To exercise your rights, send your request to ventas@caseetrans.com indicating your full name, identification number, contact details and a description of the request. Inquiries will be addressed within a maximum of ten (10) business days and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable under the terms of the law. If the internal procedure does not resolve your request, you may file a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (www.sic.gov.co).
To operate the site and service channels we use technology providers (web hosting, analytics, messaging and WhatsApp) that may act as data processors, including outside Colombia, with adequate security and confidentiality guarantees. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
We adopt reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized or fraudulent consultation, use or access.
This policy is effective as of its publication. Personal data will be kept as long as the purpose of the processing or a legal or contractual obligation requiring it subsists. Any substantial change will be published on this page along with its update date.
